Photographing the eclipse is a daunting task.  As Wyoming just experienced, it only lasts a short while. So if the photographer misses the shot, there are no re-dos. It takes planning, and 11-year-old Jared did his homework.

Jared Ingmire decided to photograph the eclipse in Casper for his school newspaper. He is not a professional photographer, but a kid who borrowed a camera from his dad and a telephoto lens from his grandpa. Then he studied how to take pictures of this once in a lifetime event. And the results are spectacular.
