Two men are dead following a head-on collision south of Saratoga late Tuesday afternoon.

Wyoming Highway Patrol Sgt. Kyle McKay says 47-year-old Donald Price of Saratoga was headed north on Wyoming Highway 130 around 4:35 p.m. when he tried to pass a pickup and trailer at milepost 28 and collided with an oncoming pickup.

McKay says the oncoming pickup caught fire, but was quickly extinguished by first responders.

The driver of the oncoming pickup, 71-year-old Fairhope, Alabama resident Christopher Leigh, died at the scene. His passenger was taken to the hospital in Rawlins and then flown to Casper.

Price was flown to Loveland, Colorado where he died from his injuries.

McKay says all three were wearing their seat belts and had to be extricated.
