The Rocky Mountain Team Black assumed command of the Badger Creek Fire at 6 a.m. on Wednesday.

Crews are also working to build and improve the fire line on the south and west portions of the fire.  There is still zero percent containment on the fire.

Structures have been destroyed in the fire and law enforcement is attempting to contact the property owners of those structures at this time.
