Meet the new food truck on the block. Mile High Fries recently rolled into town and is drawing rave reviews online. The latest addition to Cheyenne's street food scene serves french fries four ways; buffalo chicken, carne asada, pork green chile and poutine.

The concept is the brainchild of Wheatland, Wyo. native Spencer Lawrence and his fiance, Carmen Romo. Lawrence cooked up the idea after attending culinary school in Sheridan and studying marketing at the University of Wyoming.

Since the truck debuted in January, Lawrence has been making the 70 mile-trip from Wheatland several times a week, weather permitting. Next month, he and Romo are moving to Cheyenne, where they plan to operate the business full-time.

If the initial response is any indication, they should be successful. Mile High Fries currently has a perfect five-star rating on Facebook.
