Wyoming Honors Fallen Peace Officers
Protecting you can come at great cost.
Over 60 Wyoming Peace Officers have been lost in the line of duty, protecting citizens lives, properties and rights. Their contributions and sacrifices are ever appreciated by many and will likely not be forgotten.
To that end, The Wyoming Law Enforcement Memorial was formed to commission a Wyoming artist to create a bronze sculpture that will honor fallen Wyoming Peace Officers, to be installed on the capitol grounds in Cheyenne. This charity also assists family members of fallen officers.
The sixth annual Wyoming Fallen Officer Memoriam & Procession will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Wyoming State Supreme Court, 2301 Capitol Ave., Cheyenne.
