How Much Cold Would You Stand to Save Some Cash On Beer?

How much cold can you stand? What if it's for a good cause... like drinking beer? Well, it's not the polar plunge, but it's a similar premise. It's called the polar bear club, and it's at the Alibi right here in Laramie. Here's the gist: You pay $20 for all you can drink beer. But there's a catch. You can only drink it while outside.

But what if it's -10 below, you may ask? Doesn't matter, you still have to stay outside. "If you come inside, you forfeit the beer so layer up," the Facebook event says. 

As you know, the Alibi has a fabulous patio, complete with fire pits (which will be on to provide some relief if it's freezing outside.) There will also be outdoor games, with their full menu available to order.

This is the fourth year that the Alibi has offered the Polar Bear Club event. This year, it will be on February 16th, which, judging from past Wyoming weather, might be sunny or it might be freezing. You'll have to show up to find out.

Don't forget to layer up, though. Just in case.
