Sure that sounds simple enough if he can actually sell the building. But the reports that the Downtown Development Authority, the owner resisting, the Historic Preservation Board and City Hall are all hoping for different things.

The owner was supposed to renovate it in the 2000s, but the economic recession put that on hold. If there aren't going to be any major renovations, perhaps now is time to put the building out of everyone's misery.
