Laramie Christmas Parade Recap
Laramie residents lined the streets and braved the bitter cold weather to enjoy one of the community's holiday traditions--The Christmas Parade! Volunteers began planning the parade in October and invested close to 120 hours of time. The theme for this year's parade was "Ho-Ho-Holiday- A Country Christmas." Organizers were forced to postpone the parade last week due to extreme weather. Ironically, Friday's parade was met with similar weather conditions, leaving Laramie's faithful shivering as they cheered the parade's participants. Community members rode in vehicles decked with 'boughs of holly' and other festive adornments. The crowd favorite for this year, drawing thunderous cheers from children and adults alike, was the appropriately-colored, red, fire engine sponsored by Laramie's fire department.
First time parade attendee, Dave Moehrke, elaborates on attending the parade with his young daughter in such unforgiving weather:

Luke Burgess, who enjoyed the parade with his family, commented on the experience:
Dave Moehrke and Luke Burgess said they would definitely comeback back for next year's parade.
