It's been a tough year for Wyoming Cowboy football fans. However, several former Pokes players have given us plenty to cheer about in the professional ranks. Here's a mid-season report card for all seven of the active UW alum on NFL roster.

Malcom Floyd - A

In his 10th season, Floyd continues to produce for the San Diego Chargers. With 21 receptions for 409 yards and three touchdowns, the former UW standout remains one of Phillip Rivers' favorite targets.

Tashaun Gipson - A -

Despite battling an ankle injury early in the season, the Browns Free Safety has tallied 32 tackles and 2 interceptions. In his 4th year, he's solidified his role as a defensive leader for Cleveland.

Marqueston Huff - B -

In limited duty, Huff's versatility has been an asset to the Tennessee Titans. Used primarily in the nickel defense, the strong safety has recorded six tackles so far in his second season.

Chris Prosinski - C +

In his fifth season, Prosinski looks to have found a home in the Chicago's defensive backfield. After joining the Bears in late September, he has earned more playing time of late. The former UW safety is coming off his best game as a professional, recording six tackles and his first career sack versus Denver last week.

Mitch Unrein - C+

After being waived from San Diego early in the season, Unrein has bounced back. Acquired by Chicago in week three, the Defensive Lineman has recorded 8 tackles. Like his former UW and current Bears teammate Prosinski, Unrein is coming off his best game of the year. He had 3 tackles in last week's loss to Denver and also appeared as an offensive fullback in a late game goal line situation. Don't be surprised if Unrein scores his first NFL touchdown before the season is over.

Mike Purcell - Incomplete

The second year Defensive Tackle was recently activated by San Francisco. In his first game, he recorded four tackles for the 49ers in last week's loss to Seattle. Look for Purcell to get more playing time as the season continues.

Mark Nzeocha - Incomplete

The rookie Linebacker was just activated this week by Dallas. He'll play in his first NFL regular season game on Thanksgiving when the Cowboys host undefeated Carolina.
