Have you felt the tremors begin again? I’m not referring to actual earth shaking. The news and fake news rumblings are back. February 8 was the start of the newest “swarm” (increase in seismic activity) in Yellowstone. Well, it is refreshing to search and find a few headlines like one from the jhnewsandguide, “Y’stone Quake Swarm Isn’t a Deadly Warning.”

If that’s the case, there sure are enough quotes that still seem “deadly.” For instance, our state’s super-volcano “could be a thousand times as powerful as the 1980 Mount St Helens eruption, experts have warned.”  That’s how a reporter for yahoonews put it. In that same article, however, in another paragraph, it reads, “the largest earthquake in the swarm is M2.9, and none of the events have been felt.”

Still, under the search words, “swarm not deadly,” a next headline might be about “fears” that she’s “about to blow.” I guess they don't care about postings from towns in Wyoming quoting the University of Utah geologist, “NOT” deadly. This is comforting. I like the thought that any vibration felt is just from that passing herd of jogging bison.

On the other hand, if all the wildlife suddenly disappears from Yellowstone, I’d be deadly scared. Ever heard that animals can sense, and predict, an earthquake? I mean I have no idea if that's true, but if Yellowstone ever mysteriously loses all its wildlife, are you filling up and driving east?
