The Rotary Club of Laramie is proud to announce a match-up between the Harlem Ambassadors and the Gem City Travelers in a volunteer fundraising basketball event March 25th at the Laramie Plains Civic Center south gymnasium. Drought conditions in Wyoming mean that rivers are running a little lower these days, so the 8th Annual Big Laramie Duck Race will be at Huck Finn Pond in LaPrele Park this year. A 12-horsepower generator is going to be used to make a stream for the rubber ducks to race down, with the winner getting a prize of $1,000.
