An isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out.

This time of the year, any of these storms could become severe.

Scattered severe thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon across southeast Wyoming and western Nebraska with large hail and damaging winds possible.

The greatest tornado risk will be maximized over far southeast Wyoming from Wheatland to Cheyenne, eastward toward Pine Bluffs and Torrington.
