Patchy blowing snow with gusty winds could significantly reduce visibility along Interstate 80 between Elk Mountain and Arlington Thursday evening into early Friday morning.
Blizzard Warnings are in effect through 6 p.m. Tuesday for portions of southeast Wyoming and the northern Nebraska Panhandle, where up to two feet of snow could fall.
Interstate 80 has reopened, but the 124-mile stretch between Walcott Junction and Cheyenne remains closed to light and high-profile vehicles due to gusting winds.
Snow continues to be in the forecast this week, but the National Weather Service in Cheyenne says the best chance for the white stuff looks to be Wednesday afternoon into the evening hours.
