The great state of Wyoming has provided the backdrop for hundreds of films and television shows documenting our spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife, man made monuments, natural resources and old west history.

Of those documentaries, none of them represents the Cowboy State better than the recent Smithsonian Channel production "Aerial America: Wyoming".

The film invites viewers to "soar over Wyoming and explore the lush landscapes that lured men like Jim Bridger out West in search of furs and game. Delve into its past, including a shocking hate crime, a notorious mining operation, and a 19th-Century fight for women's rights."

If you have 46 minutes to spare, this is definitely worth the investment.
