Former Wyoming running back Brian Hill has met with Broncos at NFL combine, according to Broncoswire.usatoday.com. If you ask me, Brian is the guy John Elway needs.

Remember that any running back with a college career 5.5 yards per carry will likely meet with a number of NFL teams. In the Cowboy State, though, we’re just a little bit pumped that the first team Brian meets with is The Denver Bucking Broncos.

If you’re a person of faith, check out this statement from the young Mr. Hill, “This has been a dream of mine for a while now, and through hard work and dedication that dream finally has a chance to become a reality. I would like to give thanks to God for none of this would be possible without Him.” According to NFL Draft Scout, he continued thanking people at UW, including his team mates, “Who will be my brothers for life.”

At the combine, Hill ran a 4.54 40, a fast time for near such a big guy. He is also bruising, often gaining yards after the first hit. That sounds like a healthy C.J. Anderson. How about those two as a Denver tandem?

The Broncos have many needs from free agency and the draft - offensive tackle, linebacker and tight end. At running back in 2016, however, our stuff was weak, so getting some "B Heezy fo sheezy" in the backfield might be smart.

Of course, other teams need help in their run game – like the Bengals, say DaytonDailyNews.com, who also quoted a scout, “…some may question the level of competition (that Brian Hill played in college). I look at it like this. The defenses he faced knew he was getting the ball and still couldn’t stop him. That’s like going to a gang fight by yourself and kicking everybody’s ass.”
