As we gear up for the 120th annual "Daddy of 'Em All", here's a look back at the five biggest concerts in Cheyenne Frontier Days history, according to ticket sales.

Jason Aldean set the attendance record on July 26, 2013, when 25,000 fans sold out the CFD Rodeo Arena for his show with Jake Owen. It also broke the record for the biggest concert ever held in the state of Wyoming.

The previous attendance record was held by George Strait, who has performed at CFD eight times over the years. His July 26, 2004 show was the biggest, when 23,736 fans braved the rain and 49-degree temperature to see the "King of Country".

At the time, it shattered the exisitng CFD record, previously set by Kenny Chesney in 2002, by over 8,000 tickets.

Tim McGraw ranks third on the list of CFD's biggest concerts. His July 26, 2014 performance, which also featured Kip Moore and Cassidy Pope, drew a crowd of 23,313.

Notice a familiar pattern? The three biggest concerts in CFD history were all held on July 26th.

Here's another familiar pattern. George Strait and Jason Aldean also headlined the fourth and fifth biggest Frontier Days concerts of all time.

Strait's performance on July 18, 2009, sold over 22,000 tickets to rank fourth. Aldean teamed up with Mark Chestnut and Thompson Square on July 23, 2011, playing to over 21,000.

Other notable CFD concerts including Brooks and Dunn, who performed for over 20,900 fans in 2010.

In 2009, Taylor Swift set the attendance record for female performers, drawing over 20,000.

Miranda Lambert headlined last year's biggest show, selling nearly 19,500 tickets.
