Nate Logemann has dreamed of being a Division I athlete since the third grade. When the 6'1", 265 lb. lineman realized he was too small to play college football, he chose a different sport. These days, the Cheyenne East alum is living the dream as a male cheerleader at the University of Wyoming.

"It's a blast," Logemann told us last night before the UW Spirit Squad performed at Cheyenne Frontier Days. "We get to travel with the team everywhere. We went to Boise for the bowl game, we went to Vegas for the basketball tournament. It's always fun."

Logemann is one of 15 men and 27 women cheerleaders at the University of Wyoming. As much as he loves his teammates, he considers his parents to be his favorite cheerleaders. The UW sophomore also encouraged other men to participate in the sport.

"Don't let people make fun of you for it," he said. "People won't give you as much crap as you think."
