Wyoming Federal Judges Sentence Nine Defendants

Federal judges in Wyoming recently sentenced nine men for sex crimes, drugs, assault, child pornography and other crimes, according to a news release from the Wyoming U.S. Attorney’s Office.

U.S. District Court Judge Scott Skavdahl sentenced eight of the nine defendants:

Marvin Wayne Magnan, 63, of Ethete was sentenced on two counts of aggravated sexual abuse; six counts of abusive sexual contact; two counts of sexual abuse of a minor; one count of sexual abuse; and one count of simple assault. Magnan received 108 years of imprisonment, to be followed by lifetime probation, and was ordered to pay a special assessment of $1,125.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated this case.

Daniel Lee Evans, 35, of Casper was sentenced for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. He received 10 years of imprisonment, to be followed by five years of probation, and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment and $400 in restitution.
The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation investigated this case.

Lance Sterling Addison, 36, of Arapahoe was sentenced for failure to register as a sex offender. Addison was arrested in Riverton. He received two years of imprisonment, to be followed by five years of probation, and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment.
The U.S. Marshals Service investigated this case.

Mitchell Wayne Mosqueda, 24, of Riverton was sentenced for assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to do bodily harm. He received one year, three months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment and $5,298.12 in restitution.The FBI investigated this case.

Gerald Paul Headley, Jr., also known as Percy Headley, 43, of Fort Washakie was sentenced on two counts of abusive sexual contact. Headley was arrested in Lander. He received 15 years of imprisonment, to be followed by a life term of probation, and was ordered to pay a $200 special assessment and $1,194.80 in restitution.
The FBI investigated this case.

Donald Mullen, 28, of Miles City, Mont., was sentenced for possession of child pornography. Mullen was arrested in Gillette. He received 10 years of imprisonment, to be followed by 10 years of probation, and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment and a $500 fine.
The DCI’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security investigated this case.
Joel Rodriguez, 29, of Lafayette, Colo., was sentenced for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and for carrying a firearm in relation to a drug trafficking crime. Rodriguez was arrested in Casper. He received 12 years of imprisonment, to be followed by four years of probation, and was ordered to pay a $200 special assessment and $280 in restitution.
The DCI investigated this case.
Kyle Steven Hebert, 46, of Casper was sentenced for possession of child pornography. He received 10 years of imprisonment, to be followed by 15 years of probation, and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment and $2,500 in restitution.
The DCI’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security investigated this case.
Chief U.S. District Court Judge Nancy Freudenthal sentenced Jonathan Marino Guerrero-Santana, 25, of Snellville, Ga., for use of unauthorized access devices to obtain $1,000 or more and aiding and abetting. Guerrero-Santana was arrested in Laramie. He received four years of probation and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment and a $900 fine.
The Laramie Police Department, the FBI and the U.S. Secret Service investigated this case.
