If you hit the Powerball this weekend, not only will you make $500 million, you'll also make history. Nobody from Wyoming has won the Powerball jackpot...at least, not yet.

However, there have a few lucky lottery players here in the Cowboy State. Since WyoLotto launched in 2013, nearly $37 million in prize money was been awarded.

The biggest ticket to date was sold in Evanston in March of 2016, when somebody won $5 million playing Mega Millions. They were one of several new millionaires that year.

In February of 2016, someone in Cheyenne won $1,888, 328. In May of 2016, a player in Green River claimed $1,342,013.

Wyoming's first member of the millionaire club was crowned in September of 2015, when a $1 million ticket was sold in Casper.

The biggest prize of 2017 was a $1,544,236 ticket purchased in Rawlins. Hopefully, we'll have a really big winner in 2018.
