Cheyenne City Buses Are Going Electronic For Fares
On Monday the Cheyenne Transit Program announced that it will have a farebox system on all the buses, according to KGWN.
In the past, in order to ride the public bus, you either had to have tokens, a punch card or writing down it was a senior I.D. The farebox system will eliminate any exchange between the rider and the driver. If you do not bring exact change, the farebox will issue you a card with the change on it.
The system started on Monday. If you still have tokens or a punch card they will no longer be accepted but you can exchange them at the Cheyenne Transit Office.
