Southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle are expected to see warmer temperatures to start out the week Monday and Tuesday.

Another storm system is expected to arrive on Thursday, bringing the possibility of heavy rain showers towards the end of the week. The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service posted this statement on its website on Monday:

Looks like we're going to see a pattern change for mid to late week, as high pressure in the Pacific Northwest begins to break down, allowing more Pacific storm systems to move into the area. We'll have to watch from Thursday on into the weekend for increased chances for widespread thunderstorms and heavy rainfall. If you have any outdoor projects that you need to complete this week (mowing, new roofing, etc...), you probably want to have them done by Wednesday. Any farmers/ranchers with hay down, you probably want to finish bailing by Wednesday. Slow moving storms expected Friday and Saturday that could produce a lot of rainfall, especially east of the Laramie Range into the Nebraska Panhandle.
