Arrest warrants have been issued for Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd and Julie Chrisley. The order comes one day after both were indicted on federal charges including tax evasion, bank fraud and wire fraud.

The Blast is one of several media outlets reporting that U.S. Marshals have been directed to arrest the couple, who live in Nashville. On Tuesday (Aug. 13), news of the 12-count charges became public, something the family tried to prepare their fans for on Instagram. Todd, Julie and company deny all charges, claiming a disgruntled former employee has falsified the documents that implicate them.

"I'm telling you all this now because we have nothing to hide and have done nothing to be ashamed of," the Instagram statement reads. "Not only do we know we've done nothing wrong, but we've got a ton of hard evidence and a bunch of corroborating witnesses that proves it."

Chrisley Knows Best is in its seventh season on the USA Network. Now based in Nashville, the show follows patriarch Todd Chrisley, a real estate mogul in Georgia, and his family. Country stars including Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus and Sara Evans have appeared on the show, and Todd and Julie Chrisley walked the red carpet at the 2017 ACM Awards, one year after Todd walked with his daughter Savannah down the same red carpet.

The charges come from their time living in North Atlanta between 2007 and 2012, a prosecutor says per the Associated Press. The indictments claim they not only hid income from the IRS, but also forged documents to acquire millions in bank loans. Accountant Peter Tarantino was also indicted on charges.

Todd Chrisley is 50 years old, and his wife, Julie, is 46. The family's kids have had legal troubles of their own recently, with estranged son Kyle being arrested on drug charges in 2019 and Chase being accused of owing $16,000 in back taxes. Todd and Julie Chrisley face up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
