Cold Front Approaching SE Wyoming Today
The agency posted this statement on its website on Monday morning:
15/4AM: Good morning! Looking at Satellite imagery this morning, we have a cold front approaching from western Wyoming. This front is expected to bring a mix of rain and snow for folks driving on Interstate 80 this morning around Rawlins, possibly as far west as Evanston this morning. Heaviest rain/snow mix looks to be around Rawlins as you can see on the 9AM simulated radar. By this afternoon (4 PM), the front looks to spread across southeast Wyoming with possible showers and thunderstorms developing up near Douglas, Lusk and Chadron. Severe thunderstorms are not expected today, but there could be brief moderate rain and reduced visibility across our northern counties from these thunderstorms.
