Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD) has named Shali Lord, barrel racing co-champion.

During finals Sunday, Lord, completed her run in 17.22 seconds. Seven runs later when the clock stopped, Nellie Miller had tied with Lord. While both women shared the final round’s first and second place prize money, Miller won the tiebreaker to be crowned champion based on having the fastest time in the earlier rounds.

After further consideration and comparing the rules of the WPRA to CFD’s new rodeo format, Cheyenne Frontier Days is naming Shali Lord the 2019-barrel racing co-champion. She will share the title with Nellie Miller and will also receive a CFD Championship Package.
