That's right, ladies. You're justified in having extra socks in your desk (like me) bringing and extra sweater into work, or complaining about the thermostat being constantly turned down in the office. According to science, there are negative affects to women being cold in the workplace- even though the office still has the air conditioning on either way.

"As the temp went up, women did better on math and verbal tasks, and men did worse," Chang, the study's progenitor says. "And the increase for women in math and verbal tasks was much larger and more pronounced than the decrease in performance of men."

If you're cold at the office, talk to HR because it's definitely negatively affecting your productivity. No amount of hot tea can fix that.
