Sub-Zero Wind Chills Expected In Southeast Wyoming This Week
The agency posted this statement on its website:
"First round of winter expected mid-week to start off our 2019-2020 winter season. Most if not all of the forecast area will see their first flakes and even accumulation of the season. Wintry mix precipitation expected Wednesday evening with an associated cold front that takes its name seriously. For ranchers with livestock, take advantage of the next couple days to prep feed and shelter as the combination of precipitation followed by sub-freezing temperatures may lead to hypothermia and frozen fur. Coldest wind chill values will reach into the sub-zero range! Forecasted highs for Thursday are below freezing. Follow the latest information at weather.gov/Cheyenne as this system gets closer."
