America wants more Lennon and Maisy, and ABC and the producers of 'Nashville' are delivering!

Some lucky band in the Nashville area is going to have the privilege of performing with this dedicated artist.  You can tell by the ad that his commitment to his craft runs deep.  If only all musicians shared his passion.

Lights, camera, action! Kip Moore and Vince Gill are getting ready to jump offstage and on-camera for an appearance on the hit show 'Nashville.' The pair -- along with Pam Tillis -- won't have to reach too far out of character, as they'll be playing themselves...

The actress admits that preparing for her role as country superstar Rayna Jaymes meant getting some special help from an old country music standby -- in this case, whiskey.

If you can't get enough of the country music drama on ABC's 'Nashville,' then you'll be excited to learn that the Music City mansion inhabited by Rayna James (Connie Britton's character) is up for sale. Unfortunately, it comes with a hefty price tag that only a successful country music star could afford.

After just one episode of ‘Nashville,‘ it’s difficult to imagine how the show’s first radio single is going to fit in with the storyline. ‘Telescope’ by Hayden Panettiere — Juliette Barnes on the show — is a rollicking pop-country song about keeping track of one’s man as his eyes wander. After the pilot, it seems like women in ‘Nashville’ need to have telescopic eyes to keep an eye on Barnes, as she climbs aboard everything with a Y chromosome.

While the ‘Nashville‘ premiere episode on ABC was loaded with country music, one performance at the very end by characters Scarlett O’Connor and Gunnar Scott (played by Clare Bowen and Sam Palladio) is receiving the most attention. The song — ‘If I Didn’t Know Better’ — was written and originally recorded by a male/female duet that became a Grammy winning act in 2012.

Kelly Clarkson continues to inch closer to becoming a bona fide country music superstar, recently announcing plans to claim full-time residency in Nashville. Despite her allegiance to the Lone Star State, the current CMA Awards nominee has placed her Texas estate on the market, and is currently in the process of finding a home in Music City.

Last week it was party time once again for Lee Brice. This time, however, he was not celebrating a song he wrote for another artist, but rather his own hit song, ‘A Woman Like You.’ Brice and the song’s three writers — Phil Barton, Jon Stone and Johnny Bulford — gathered at CMA headquarters in Nashville where they were honored with the song that topped the country singles chart back in April. Chris Young must really love music. As if his busy performing schedule (he’s been out on the road with Miranda Lambert and her dogs this year) wasn’t enough to curb his appetite for the music industry, Young is opening a new artist development and production company in Music City. But hey, if a successful country music star doesn’t know how to manage artists, who does?

CMT is unveiling a brand new TV series in April that is set to find the next big Country music superstar. The show is a ten episode series that starts on Friday, April 8th on CMT at 8:00 PM. Next Superstar is not only a production of CMT but is also produced in conjunction with the makers of American Idol as well.
