Looks like our pumpkin spice latte balloon just lost all of its air.

It's the most wonderful time of the year... behind Christmas. It's pumpkin spice latte season and if you're like me, you're a tad jittery right now because you've had about 27 in the one week it's been out. Now, that being said, we had this wonderful drink in our presence for all of two days before the CIA ruined it.

Yes, that C I A.

The government agency decided to get in on the fun with a tweet. Maybe they feel like they need to have the same presence as Wendy's or Popeye's, but stay in your lane, ladies and gents. Here's what they posted:

Is it clever? Yeah. Is it an attempt to humanize the organization? Sure. It's is weird? Absolutely.

The Internet immediately jumped on this with hilarious responses. One said this was a cryptic message that they had received and they would act accordingly. Another joked that the government would be changing the name of the pumpkin spice latte to "pentagon" spice latte. Ultimately, many agreed that the PSL was now bugged with a listening device.
