I've seen the "Surf Wyoming" t-shirts, but I was surprised to see that people actually surf in Wyoming. It's river surfing and it looks intense. One of the more infamous places to drop-in is the "Lunch Counter" on the Snake River. Located outside of Jackson, this is where you can truly surf Wyoming.

This video published by Dronetastic Voyages shows a few different surfers riding the river waves at the Lunch Counter. You can also see a few eat some river water. The surfers aren't the only ones hitting the rapids. Rafters and kayakers are floating the currents, too.

If you are feeling really adventurous, the Matador Network describes how to catch a wave at the Lunch Counter. It is extremely dangerous. Kids, unlike Xbox there is no pause button. Watching the video is our recommendation as it is safe for all ages.
