The United States Air Force Demonstration Team, The Thunderbirds sliced through the sky over Cheyenne on Wednesday. The roar of the engines, the speed of 500 miles per hour, the planes flying in formation at times just three feet apart by some of the best pilots in the world. These are the elite, the ambassadors in blue. They are a blur during the show, but they are mighty impressive on the ground, bristling with power and a show of how The United States Of America can and will vigorously defend itself from those that would attack us.
