As we gear up for the 120th annual "Daddy of 'Em All", here's a look back at some of the most legendary performers to ever grace the stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Which touring artist has played the most times at CFD?

Hint #1: It's not George Strait. Over the years, "The King of Country" performed 8 shows at CFD, most recently in 2009. Strait's 2004 concert held the Frontier Days attendance record for nearly a decade, until it was broken by Jason Aldean in 2013.

Hint #2: It's not Johnny Cash. The "Man in Black" made eight appearances in Cheyenne, including three consecutive nights in 1977 and 1980, along with a two-night stand in 1986.

Hint #3: It's not Chris LeDoux. Although the legendary cowboy competed in the CFD Rodeo for 16 years, he performed seven concerts at Frontier Days during his illustrious career, including a duet with Garth Brooks in 1996. LeDoux's final concert in front of his hometown crowd came in 2003.

Do you know the answer yet?

HInt #4: It's not Reba McEntire. "The Queen of Country" has graced the CFD stage seven times, most recently in 2012.

If you guessed The Charlie Daniels Band, congratulations. From 1979 to 2011, the venerable southern rock icon has played Frontier Days a record 10 times.
