After a two hour lightning delay and three overtimes, Wyoming football fans realized they had a few pleasant surprises at 2:30 a.m. Sunday...

A 1-0 record, a promising quarterback, a much improved defense, and a few playmakers on special teams. One of those players is just a freshman, return specialist and wide receiver Austin Conway.

Conway originally joined the University of Wyoming to play basketball, but made the transition this year to the football field. He excelled in both sports at Overland High School in Aurora, Colorado.

Austin caught up with us on Wyoming SportsLine this week to recap the Northern Illinois game, and look ahead to Nebraska this Saturday...
