Findings from a report released Tuesday by WalletHub show Wyoming is 2019's tenth safest state in America.

The personal-finance website compared the 50 states across 52 key metrics, including neighborhood safety, motor vehicle fatalities, occupational safety and law enforcement employees per capita.

According to their findings, Wyoming is the second safest in drug abuses per capita, and the third safest in thefts per capita.

The Cowboy State is, however, one of the worst states for most fatal occupational injuries per total workers, second only to North Dakota and Alaska.

Minnesota ranked the safest state, followed by Vermont, Maine, Utah and Connecticut.  The least safe states are Texas, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi.
